Gen 1 - Sandy Springs

A middle child, Sandy was always on the move. She was active, but also had a difficult time focusing for long enough to learn, except when something interested her. Then she could focus for hours at the time. It was her curiosity and willingness to explore that led her down the path to become an astronaut. What was more fantastic to explore than outer space? 

Already as a teen, Sandy met Rory, and the moment school was out, they moved to Oasis Springs where SpaceYs headquarters are. They both began their astronaut training, and though Sunny came as an early surprise, leading to their elopement, Sandy usually says she couldn't have planned it better had she tried. Had she and Rory planned on waiting some before having children until their career progressed further? Of course, but that was not what life had in store for them. And Sandy is happy with the life they've had, and she made it into space as an Astronaut, even if she never got as far in her career as she had initially hoped. 

In their old age, she and Rory are happy to be just grandparents, and look forward to the day when Sunny and Carolyn move their family back to Oasis Springs so they can spend more time with them.
