Chapter 18: Growing Up
When winter gives way to spring, Christmas is living her last days as a toddler. For Willow its a bit bittersweet to know that her daughter will soon be a school child and not just hers all day. She makes sure to make the most of the days she has left with her.

On the day itself she makes sure the house is decorated for celebrations, and invite family and friends to celebrate with them.

Christmas ages up to be a self assured little girl, curious about life and all it has to offer.

Joining the scouts feels like a given for her, and she starts out getting three batches in quick succession. Willow especially like the part where they get batches for cleaning up around the house.

On Springster Christmas gets to meet Flower Bunny, who interestingly enough spends much more time with her than Father Winter did. Not that Christmas minds. She doesn't spend too much time thinking about who her father is. She's happy with it just being her and mom. Flower Bunny is interesting to talk to. Christmas has never met someone who has so much to say and yet says nothing.

For Willow life feels different when Christmas is off all day. She does much of the same things, but just alone. At work, she can spend more time doing research, and truly immerse herself in her job. But she misses the sudden "What's that?" or "Why?" while working. On the other hand, she does get a few new grants approved.

Under the Oasis Spring sun, Sandy is on a date with her husband. They've now lived in this town for years, but this is still the first time they're visiting the Solar Flare.

It's been forever since it was just the two of them, but Rory insisted on taking her out. "We need to celebrate," he said, for Sandy has finally made it and become a Space Cadet. They're training her for outer space.

On top of that, she's finished her life's long aspiration. She's now officially a nerd brain and the second adult in the family who finishes off an aspiration. She's the first of her family to have finished one as a child and one as an adult. "And that's worthy of celebrating," Rory says, as always proud of his wife.

But she has worked hard for it, spending late nights and early mornings at SpaceY, and topping that off with studies of space at home.

Rory has been the one helping Sunny with his homework.

And now it's time for a new change, as Sunny is aging up to a teenager, and that is worth its own celebration. The small house is soon filled with adults and children wanting to celebrate Sunny.

And there he is, a handsome young man with a squeamish trait. Too bad his parents are planning on taking him on a camping trip tomorrow. But luckily he doesn't know that yet.
